Milton Ellis, Principal
My professional career has focused on developing
both strong personal and organizational relationships.
In the healthcare industry, responsibilities have
included building relationships between providers
(physician, hospital and ancillary providers) and
managed care organizations. I held leadership positions
with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts from
1982-1994.
Since
that time, I have continued working with many clients
in the healthcare profession and have been fortunate
to be an integral part of dynamic teams, which negotiate
major payor-provider contracts and implement significant
quality improvement and cost effective initiatives
in managed care organizations.
For over 20 years, I have worked with non-profit organizations
in leadership positions, which have included President
of the American Cancer Society (Boston Chapter), President
of the Junior League of Boston, and currently Trustee
of the Arthritis Foundation of Massachusetts. As a
founder and principal of the WERC Consulting Group,
I enjoy working with non-profit leadership through
strategic planning, leadership development, communication,
and fund development activities. I hold a BA from
Carleton College and an MPH from Yale University.
